Zambia’s longest surviving scheduled airline, Proflight Zambia, is set to resume the Lusaka – Livingstone from operations mid-July, 2020.
According to a report by RoutesOnline, Jetstream J41 will operate this route three times weekly from July 15, 2020.
The report added that prior to July 2020, the airline will operate extra flights during Heroes’ Day and Unity Day long weekend, on July 4 and 7, 2020.
Proflight Zambia also operates 4 weekly Lusaka – Ndola and 2 weekly Lusaka – Solwezi services for its interim schedule.
The airline suspended international flights on March 27, 2020, and domestic flights from April 1, 2020 in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19. It had planned to recommence international and domestic flights from May 1, 2020 to Lusaka, Ndola, Mfuwe, Solwezi, Livingstone and Johannesburg on a very limited schedule
