Rwanda’s flagship carrier, RwandAir has extended the temporary suspension of its passenger flights until Rwanda’s lockdown restrictions are lifted, the airline has announced.
Rwanda’s borders remain closed to passenger flights in order to curb the spread of Covid-19.
“Customers holding RwandAir tickets have the option to rebook with the airline and fly at a later date at no extra cost or request for a travel voucher if they are not sure of their travel dates,” added the airline.
RwandAir, which flies to 29 destinations across the world, suspended all commercial flights on March, 19 2020 after Rwanda announced restrictive measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
