iSimangaliso Wetland Park located in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa has commenced the process of getting the Park ready for opening on June 8, 2020.
According to a press statement released by the Park, the preparation process will include the return of staff and conducting of training on health and safety protocols, the deep cleaning of offices and public facilities within the Park and the preparation of the Park for visitors.
“Once compliance requirements have been met, and the Park has been declared safe, the Park will open in keeping with the Minister’s direction,” said the Park.
“To this end the iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority is pleading with the public to exercise patience and understanding, as all these measures are being put in place in the interest of public safety and ensuring that we all play our part in curbing the spread of the virus.”
