Zambia’s longest surviving scheduled airline, Proflight Zambia, is resuming operations from May 6, 2020, initially operating the Lusaka – Ndola route as essential service.
According to RoutesOnline, Jetstream 41 will operate two round-trip flights on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The airline suspended international flights on March 27, 2020, and domestic flights from April 1, 2020 in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19.
It had planned to recommence international and domestic flights from May 1, 2020 to Lusaka, Ndola, Mfuwe, Solwezi, Livingstone and Johannesburg on a very limited schedule.
