Low-cost carrier Fastjet Zimbabwe has postponed the launch of scheduled flight operations between Victoria Falls International Airport and Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport until 2021.

Fastjet had planned to commence the flights from July 6, 2020.

The airline cited the decline in demand for the service as well as the likelihood of the resurgence and persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic well into 2021 as the main reasons for the postponement.

Fastjet has also postponed domestic flights between Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo International Airport in Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, which were to commence on July 6, 2020.
