As the National Gallery of Zimbabwe, Bulawayo remains closed in light of COVID- 19, Divergent Labs Zimbabwe, a storytelling and brand development through digital VR/AR agency, has launched virtual tours of the Gallery’s running exhibitions to follow from the comfort of one’s home.
The virtual tour takes one from the entrance, to the crafts being exhibited, to the children’s rights exhibitions to the Sabona Shop.

National Gallery of Zimbabwe Harare, Bulawayo and Mutare were temporarily closed following the 21 day lockdown imposed by Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa in a bid to to curb the spread of COVID-19.
“As we collectively charter into unknown territory during the national lockdown, we need to heed the advice of our president and act responsibly in all that we do over this period,” read the statement issued by the National Gallery of Zimbabwe Bulawayo.
