Following the travel restrictions put in place globally in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, three Hotels in the Cape Winelands of South Africa have put in place an initiative to cater to stranded international travelers.
‘Stranded in the Winelands’ is an initiative by these hotels located on wine and olive farms in the greater Paarl area.
“COVID-19 has left a lot of our international friends stranded in South Africa, and we want to offer you a solution for your unplanned prolonged stay,” says a statement released by the organisers of the initiative.
“We have decided to offer you a full board package where you are safe, well taken care of and that you do not have to personally go out. Our three hotels open their doors to you, to offer you solitude and safety from the COVID-19 Virus.”
‘Stranded in the Winelands’ offers in-house restaurants, shuttle services to the airport as well as top standard hygiene practices.
