The main spiral food path that leads up Lions Head Mountain, the Kramat access to the spiral footpath as well as the footpath from Arcadia Street to Kloof Road in Cape Town are currently closed for fire assessment until further notice, management of Cape Town’s Table Mountain National Park has announced.
This follows a fire that broke out on Sunday March 15, 2020.
The management also added that the Glen picnic area, the footpath, and the cycle trail were also currently closed until further notice.
Seven fire fighters were injured while attempting to put out the fire.
